I am currently offering an option other than caretaking for my original artwork. For those that do not live in an area in which I visit to share my artwork via caretaking, or for those that would rather own my artwork outright, I am currently offering the following types of original artwork for sale:

16” X 20” charcoal on canvas - $95 + shipping.

Quick and flowing studies, the essence of an artist’s practice…
Several are done, but only a select few that I feel capture something special, are shipped to my buyers. These original sketches are shipped to you in an archival, acid free, double 8” x 10” matt with a 5” x 7” window, fully protected for long term storage within an acid free clear plastic sleeve. This matted artwork is ready to frame. You may frame as is, or locally purchase a larger matt to reveal more of the artwork if desired.

16” X 20” charcoal renderings on canvas / $95 each

The rich, velvet black, free flowing willow charcoal stick, smoothed over the stark, textured white of canvas - a natural for evoking the spirit of the horse…
Some of these renderings will flow from the start, with bold, crisp lines juxtaposed against the brilliant white of the gessoed canvas below. Others will be delicate explorations of form, with soft transitions of grey between – evocative of my ethereal paintings. All images will be fixed for permanence, and shipped ready to hang. Canvas is gallery wrapped (canvas stapled to the back), normally with stretcher bars of 1.5” thickness… an elegant and simple style. My signature will adorn the side of the art, not the front.

These paintings can be as variable as the horse itself… the countless ways of expression are too numerous to mention, or even predict. My style develops and expands with each new painting I create, giving you a unique opportunity to capture something distinctive and highly desirable. All paintings are gallery wrapped (with canvas stapled to the back)… an elegant and simple style. The sides, usually 1.5” thick, will be painted to match a color within the painting. My signature will adorn the side of the art, not the front. All pieces are shipped ready to hang.
